No Heathrow Picnic

Richmond Liberal Democrats have dismissed a report from the Tory and Labour dominated Transport Committee, which urges the government to permit the expansion of Heathrow.

The report suggests that a third runway at Heathrow is necessary and that a fourth runway has merit. Adrian Sanders MP, the only Lib Dem on the committee, was also the only member to vote against the report and Heathrow expansion.
