Tim Catchpole has lived locally with his family since 1980. He has recently retired from a career in development planning worldwide and has been serving voluntarily as planning advisor to the Mortlake Brewery Community Group. He is determined to see that redevelopment of this site brings benefits to the local community. Tim takes an active part in local community affairs. He is a former chairman of the Mortlake with East Sheen Society, has run a successful concert series in East Sheen and been a leading light in the Barnes Community Players.
Michael Dingemans has lived in Barnes for nearly 20 years. He has dual Dutch and Irish nationality and worked in publishing abroad before moving to the UK in 1995 and setting up his own publishing business. He and his wife recently opened a small shop locally and he is keen to ensure that the council helps small businesses thrive in the borough to provide a greater diversity of independent retailers. As a father of teenage children, he is also keen to emphasize the importance of providing local opportunities for young people.
