More Recycling at Sheen Court

Sheen Court Recycling Petition

We, the undersigned, call upon Sheen Court Management Limited to install glass, metal and plastic recycling facilities at Sheen Court at the earliest opportunity. These types of recycling facilities are available for most other homes in the Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, so they ought to be available here too. The council can only help introduce these facilities at blocks of flats, like Sheen Court, with the agreement of the management company.

Presently there are no on-site recycling facilities for bottles, glass and plastics within the Sheen Court Development.

Sheen Court Management is reluctant to allow this type of recycling because they are unsure of the level of demand. They say that residents – leaseholders and tenants – are not likely to want such facilities to be available. This is your chance to let them know if you want to be able to recycle bottles and plastics at Sheen Court.

We will be coming round over the next few days with a petition for you to sign to let the Management Committee know that you want to have more recycling at Sheen Court.

If you are unlikely to be home during our petition visits, please email one of us and tell us if you would like to have bottle and plastic recycling in your development.
