Tuesday was truly the end of an era, as our great friend and colleague Vince Cable completed his final day representing Twickenham.
First elected to parliament in 1997, Vince has served as our local MP for 20 of the intervening years, not to mention acting as Secretary of State for Business between 2010 and 2015.
He has been tireless in his efforts in supporting our community, and we owe him a debt of gratitude. I feel particularly honoured to have campaigned alongside him for over a decade, and to have his backing as I stand to be our next MP.
I am absolutely determined to win in Twickenham and hold the seat.
In tight elections such as this, every vote will count, and we must do everything we can to ensure Twickenham retains its legacy as a Liberal Democrat strong-hold.
We have an office in Twickenham for the duration of the general election campaign, so do call in to see the team at 4 Victoria Road TW1 3HW to help.
Having lived in Twickenham since 2005, this community means everything to my family and me, and I am passionate about securing the opportunity to continue to represent you through the battles we face at this turbulent time.
My commitment to you is to:
- Fight to Stop Brexit
- Oppose Conservative plans for the third runway at Heathrow
- Tackle the climate emergency
- Press for more funding for our schools
- Make sure the police have the resources and officers they need to keep us safe

Thank you for your support in advance, and I look forward to seeing many of you in the weeks to come.
