    August T&R Lib Dem Bookclub

Are you an avid novel reader? Or do you prefer autobiographies or hot new non-fiction books?  Either way, we would love you to join us for the next installment of our monthly bookclub.

For August we will be discussing The Guest List, by Lucy Foley.

This is not planned to be a very serious or intellectual exercise, but a fun way to meet like-minded local members and share our enjoyment of books.  Being a Lib Dem event, all the books will of course be selected democratically!

Please RSVP if you would like to come, so we have a good idea of numbers.

This event will be held at the ETNA Centre on Rosslyn Road (COVID permitting). Numbers are limited to 25 people, so please RSVP if you would like to join.

    September T&R Lib Dem Bookclub

We are pleased to announce that for the September edition of our bookclub we will be joined for a Q&A by the author himself!

September's book for review will be Open Arms, by Vince Cable.  Vince has kindly agreed to join us for this bookclub, and we will have an author Q&A as part of the discussion.

This event will be held at the ETNA Centre on Rosslyn Road (COVID permitting). Numbers are limited to 25 people, so please RSVP if you would like to join.

About the book: Very different from his previous great books on macroeconomics, Vince used his short time out of Parliament to provide us with a spicy political thriller, taking us from Whitehall to the slums of Mumbai.

About the bookclub: Are you an avid novel reader? Or do you prefer autobiographies or hot new non-fiction books?  Either way, we would love you to join us for the next installment of our monthly bookclub.  This is not planned to be a very serious or intellectual exercise, but a fun way to meet like-minded local members and share our enjoyment of books.  Being a Lib Dem event, all the books will of course be selected democratically!
