Help us keep Whitton ward in the constituency of Twickenham

523 of 750 signatures

The initial proposals for the 2023 parliamentary boundary changes have been released and include the suggestion of moving Whitton ward out of Twickenham and into Brentford & Isleworth. Cllr Jo Humphreys said, "These proposals fail to recognise residents' identity and close knit ties with Twickenham. We believe that there is nothing wrong with the current make-up of the Twickenham constituency and in order to comply with this governments arbitrary rules regarding constituency sizes our wonderful community could end up being divided".

If you agree with your Liberal Democrat councillors that Whitton should remain in the constituency of Twickenham, then please sign the petition.

We, the undersigned, call on the boundary commission to withdraw their plans to move Whitton Ward from Twickenham to Brentford & Isleworth.
