Data & Compliance Officer
As our Data & Compliance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our local party has accurate, reliable, and well-managed data to support campaigns, elections, and member engagement.
This is a great opportunity to develop valuable digital and analytical skills while making a real impact behind the scenes.
💼 About the Role
As Data Officer, you'll be responsible for the management and maintenance of the local party's data systems. Working closely with the Executive Team and campaign organisers, you'll help ensure data is used effectively to support targeted campaigning and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage campaign data using Connect
- Maintain membership records using Lighthouse
- Manage email distribution lists
- Prepare, analyse, and use data to support local campaigns and elections
- Ensure all data is processed in line with party data protection policies
- Collect marked registers and oversee post-election data updates
What We're Looking For
You'll be well suited to this role if you:
- Are confident using computers and software
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy working with data and solving problems
- Are organised, analytical, and methodical
- Understand the importance of handling data securely and confidentially
No previous experience with Connect or Lighthouse is required, training and support are available.

Eligibility
The Data Officer is an elected position on the local party's Executive Committee, with elections taking place annually at the local party AGM.
All local party members are eligible to stand for this role.
⏰ Time Commitment: Approximately 2–3 hours per week
