Bring Back our Bridge!

Reopen the Hammersmith Bridge!

We, the undersigned urge the Department for Transport to amend the scope of its ‘Structures Fund’ to ensure it can meet the financial and timescale requirements of the full restoration of Hammersmith Bridge.

Additionally, we call on Hammersmith and Fulham Council to press the Department of Transport for these changes - remaining ambitious for the “Better Bridge” that Liberal Democrats are campaigning for. One which preserves walking and cycling connectivity, but that also enables public transport and emergency service access.
