Remembering Robin Brown
It is with great sadness that we remember Robin Brown, who passed away following a courageous year-long battle with brain cancer. His passing is a profound loss to his family, friends, colleagues and the community he served with such dedication.
Robin was a kind, smart and generous man who devoted himself to public service, serving as a councillor for Hampton Wick and South Teddington for eight years. During some of Richmond Borough Council's most challenging financial periods, Robin stewarded its finances with integrity and care, always ensuring that the needs of the most vulnerable remained at the forefront of decision-making.
He was a driving force within the Twickenham & Richmond Liberal Democrats, playing a pivotal role in numerous election victories, including the 2019 and 2024 General Election Campaigns.
He will be remembered for his thoughtful advice, leadership and genuine friendship, and he leaves behind a legacy of compassion, service and integrity.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Jane, Ellie, Alex and all of Robin's family and loved ones during this difficult time. May Robin Brown rest in peace.
If you have any videos or photographs of Robin that you would be willing to share in celebration of his life, we would be grateful if you could send them to office@trlibdems.org.uk. Your memories will help honour Robin and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.
